Alternative Apparel is seeking a Product Development/Design Intern for our Los Angeles office. This position will be heavily focused on design, and will help with color boards, line drawings, etc.
Responsibilities:
Help with product information books: cut swatches, send out dye loads etc
Organize samples, label and file samples
Help organize sample storage, hang samples, order samples
Assist in pulling color chips, working on storyboards
General design help as needed
Draw flats, input color into line art
Other tasks/projects as they arise
Skills:
General knowledge of patterning, specs and garment construction
MS office skills including Word and Excell a must
Photoshop and Illustrator skills required
Location: Los Angeles
Salary: Unpaid
