A friendly, busy fashion design & sewing studio in Old Town Pasadena, CA seeks talented and eager non-paid interns to join our team. Intern must be responsible, detail oriented, hard working, and demonstrate excellent communication skills. Interns should be knowledgeable in Microsoft Word, Excel, social media and have an interest in fashion design and available to start immediately. Intern will have an opportunity to assist, observe and participate in the actual design and construction of contemporary fashion apparel clothing.
However, much of the day-to-day will involve basic admin work customary to an active fashion design & sewing studio: supporting a team of instructors, organizing materials, researching fashion trends, corresponding through phone and email with clients, answering and screening incoming calls, make outgoing calls, supervising or supporting groups of other interns on various assigned projects. This could be an amazing opportunity for the right individual who wants to learn how an eco-friendly fashion designer does it all! Interns that excel in their positions may have opportunities to advance in the company.
